Only five years after setting up in the North East England, Tinity Cables Ltd. is celebrating its success story in a tough and competitive global marketplace, manufacturing and supplying cable to customers across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

The promoters have over 100 years experience of the cable industry, gained while working for multinational cable manufacturing companies.

Trinity Cables offer customers quality cable product allied with exceptional levels of personal customer service.

County Durham was chosen as the perfect location for such a venture due to the availability of skilled labour in the North East and the accessibility of the region when bringing in raw materials and exporting products overseas.

Trinity Cables employs 40 people at its 60000 square foot operation in West Auckland, County Durham. This year it will turnover in excess of ? million and expects to double this figure in the next three years.

Trinity manufactures and supplies over 100 different types of cable, and its expanding product range includes telecommunications, data and electric cables.

The firm has recently developed specialist products for the offshore drilling and airport lighting applications. These bespoke products have been developed by working closely during the research and development (R&D) phase with its customers and suppliers.

Trinity currently estimates that 80% of its business is done within the UK with 20% of customers located in the rest of the world. This trend is set to change over the next year as the company is expanding the number of international contracts being won in locations including Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Germany and Hong Kong and recently in India.

Trinity Manufactures data, telecommunication and electrical cables and has focused its sales efforts on the IT, construction, electronics and offshore sectors. Specific application cables for Petrochemical industries, Airports, Telephone exchanges are introduced successfully very recently.

Trinity Cables delivers quality products and has a highly skilled and well-trained workforce. It does not try to compete with the low cost cable producers in the Far East. It targets large contractors across the industry sectors who are looking for top quality cable products for their needs within a very tight schedule.

In Hong Kong there is demand for quality cable for the building industry particularly the Halogen free and fire resistant cables, in Germany for telecommunications cables and in Ireland for flexible cable.
